One of the last remaining undeveloped plots in Berlin Wedding gives space for nature to recapture the city. Surrounded by housing, working and shopping units this wasteland owned by ExRotaprint is full of untouched ruderal vegetation. In order to make this space perceptible for the residents, a minimal impact infrastructure was provided to the site. Inspired by the traditional english landscape garden, an observatory like viewpoint was built. The aim was to create a moment of peaceful nature for the residents.
